The baton for this year's Australian JoomlaDay has been passed to sunny Brisbane. 

If you're in Sydney or you can get yourself here next month, join us for JoomlaDay Sydney 2013. It's all about responsive design and there is a great lineup of speakers from the Joomla world. There are also some workshops including how to build a Joomla website from scratch presented by yours truly.

Joomla!Days are great events put on all over the world, giving Joomla enthusiasts, hardcore developers and even folks just kicking the tires a chance to come together, share new ideas and get to know each other. This month, Melbourne will host a Joomla!Day, and there's a lot to be excited about.

Sydney JoomlaDay 2012 is fast approaching, so now is the time to secure your tickets. Whether you're brand new to Joomla, or a veteran, you're guaranteed to come home wiser!

Hey, I know that only a small number of you can actually make it to Sydney, but if that's you, I encourage you to join me at Sydney JoomlaDay 2012. It's being held on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October at the University of Technology. Day 1 is a conference and includes both international and local speakers. Day 2 is a series of workshops and if you're new to Joomla, I encourage you to attend my presentation in the morning.

Poznan, Poland will host the first Joomla! Day Poland on September 22nd and 23rd, 2012. "It’s an opportunity to share ideas, techniques and knowledge and to meet professionals and members of the Joomla! community," writes Gary Brooks on the Joomla! Community Portal website.
